Jillian Chandler is the editor for all of Like Media’s print publications. Prior to joining Like Media in 2016, she was the writer and editor for Spokane Sizzle and Idaho Cuisine magazines (later known as Sizzle’n Cuisine) for 10 years. Like Media acquired the publications in the summer of 2016, and Jillian was hired soon after. Graduating cum laude with a degree in journalism and a minor in English from San Diego State University, Jillian's talent benefits all of Like Media’s clients.

Jillian moved to Coeur d'Alene in July of 2006 and shares that she is grateful to live in—and be a part of—a small town with strong family values. "Growing up in the beautiful mountain town of South Lake Tahoe, California, I always knew I wanted to live somewhere that had a strong sense of community," she shares. “And Coeur d’Alene reminds me so much of my hometown.”

She is married (to a chef!) and has three boys (and two dogs), which keeps their household active with karate classes, swim and cello lessons, as well as seasonal soccer practices and games—even coaching a couple seasons. When she manages to find some spare time in the midst of a busy schedule, Jillian enjoys spending time outdoors as much as possible, even if it’s just to do some shoveling in the winter or yard work in the warmer months.

When it comes to her role with Like Media, she appreciates the opportunity to be able to connect with the communities the company serves and share inspiring stories with readers. "It is so important to get to know your local businessmen and women, local organizations and nonprofits, and your community as a whole in order to have a better appreciation for where we live and the people who make our communities the wonderful places they are," she says. "It is nice to be able to put a face to a name, to get to know the people within our communities."
