If you live in Gig Harbor, chances are you know Julie Reed! As Like Media’s Executive Marketing Director for Washington, she is busy meeting with businesses and organizations in the community. She has been with our company since November 2013 and has been the key behind Gig Harbor Living Local's rapid growth and success. Prior to joining the Like Media team, Julie worked for 11 years in marketing, where she developed new marketing strategies that helped businesses exceed their goals. Her vast experience with startups and medium-sized businesses has proven to be invaluable.

Julie is no stranger to Gig Harbor. She has lived here for 30 years, and she and her husband raised their two sons in the Gig Harbor community. She loves being around people, a result of growing up in a big family. “I have four brothers, two sons, nine nephews, and a grandson," Julie shares. “It makes for great pick-up football games at family gatherings!”

An outdoor enthusiast with a love for the water, Julie spends her free time with her family exploring the many mountain ranges and kayaking. Julie has competed in more than five triathlons individually and has won two triathlons with a relay team, where she participated in the swim portion.
